Project Guidelines: Comic Strip Creation
- Objective:
- Students will create a comic strip that communicates a narrative with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
- Medium:
- Students may use traditional or digital art tools for their comic strip creation.
- Format:
- Comic strips should consist of a minimum of four panels and a maximum of eight panels.
- Size and layout should be standardized for consistency.
- Theme:
- Students may choose a theme that resonates with them, exploring personal experiences, social issues, or fictional stories.
- Storyboarding:
- Prior to creating the final comic strip, students must develop a storyboard outlining the sequence of events and key visuals.
- Narrative Elements:
- Emphasize the use of visual elements to convey the narrative, including characters, setting, plot development, and resolution.
- Character Design:
- Encourage students to create distinct and visually engaging characters that contribute to the overall storytelling.
- Assessment Criteria:
- Students will be assessed based on creativity, storytelling effectiveness, artistic technique, and adherence to the comic strip format.
- Reflection:
