Project 11: Package Design

Milk Carton Packaging Design

You are to design a milk carton using the sketch provided and then on the Photoshop template. You will print it out and construct an actual milk carton with your design on it.

Things to do:

Background design must wrap around the entire carton to create a scene.
Must choose an animal, NO COW, CAT, DOG, PEOPLE, OR GOATS to use as your source of milk. Use your imagination. Sign up on the file cabinet NO FAMOUS CARTOONS.
Side 1: Must have a Dominant Logo on it with a Tag Line, and information about the size of the container (can be made up). Open arrows on the top, etc.
Side 2: Must have one side to have nutritional information and barcode on it: copy the images from the right and fill it in.
Barcodes in unique shapes will get extra points.
Barcode needs your name under it.
Side 3: must have kids games, mazes, jokes, etc. This should include a title and instructions no matter how simple. Do not simply cut and paste an image. It should fit in with the design.
Side 4: must have information on them. See what is on milk cartons at lunch. Can be creative and have games or kids’ stuff, or missing person info. This should include a title and instructions no matter how simple.
Pick colors that are appropriate
DO NOT USE IMAGES FROM THE INTERNET
Make sure your craftsmanship is good with cutting and you glue in the right spots – no holes in the paper, ripped edges, etc.
