After you have your state selected, do some research to learn more about your place.
As a class we will randomly select a state. I will make a master list in case you forget or are absent. We will spin for you.
No Changes!!! Research Component/Project Requirements- Research a country outside of the United States Information required: -Description of state -State Flag -Major cities, -Population, -Major land masses (mountains, rivers, rainforests etc.), -Any National Parks -Food, -Traditions, -Anything else interesting that you may find -Find information on at least 5 places to see or things to do for entertainment/sight seeing in that state that a visitor would enjoy -Include a map of the state and the city of interest -Include least three pictures of your state (obtained from the internet) You should find out as much as you can about your state You are to become like experts on your state to be able to persuade your fellow classmates to vacation in your country **Extra Credit: -Find either a travel package to that destination or research the costs of airfare and hotel Prepare a Tri-fold brochure with the travel information Correct spelling and grammar usage Professional appearance in design and layout Grading will include the use of Proximity and Alignment Any information, paragraphs or sentences that are copied and pasted from the internet is considered plagiarism. This will result in an automatic 25% reduction in your grade, with a maximum grade of 75% ![]()
